This second volume presents all the other families of Mygalomorphs of the world, that is to say 30 families (Actinopodidae, Anamidae, Antrodiaetidae, Atracidae, Atypidae, Barychelidae, Bemmeridae, Ctenizidae, Cyrtaucheniidae, Dipluridae, Entypesidae, Euagridae, Euctenizidae, Halonoproctidae, Hexathelidae, Hexurellidae, Idiopidae, Ischnothelidae, Macrothelidae, Mecicobothriidae, Megahexuridae, Microhexuridae, Microstigmatidae, Migidae, Nemesidae, Paratropididae, Porrhothelidae, Pycnothelidae, Rhytidicolidae, Stasimopidae).

Each family is described, with the most recent taxonomic information possible, using systematic keys to subfamilies, genera and main species.

Nearly 2000 species descriptions are accompanied by almost 200 illustrations. Photos are provided for 300 species.  A book that provides an introduction to the world of primitive spiders.
