General conditions of sale

1. Scope of application

These general conditions of sale are applicable to sales of books offered by NAP Editions concluded by means of the web site www.napeditions.com.

The general conditions of sale can be consulted on the site www.napeditions.com. They are subject to modification. Consequently, the general conditions of sale applicable are those in force on the site on the date you issue your order.

2. Prices

The price of our books are shown on our Internet site in Euros and inclusive of all tax, except for any contribution to costs of handling, packaging and dispatch of your order. The books are sold in compliance with regulations applicable in France governing the official fixed book price: discounts cannot exceed 5 % of the price fixed by the publisher ("Lang" Law n°81-766 of 10 August 1981).
In the event of price modifications, which the company reserves the right to make at any time without warning, the books will be invoiced according to the tariff in force at the time of order registration.

For any delivery beyond the European community area, any customs duties or local taxes are payable by the customer.

All orders, wherever they originate, will be invoiced and payable exclusively in Euros. The books remain the property of NAP Editions until the price is paid in full, whatever the date of delivery of the book.

3. Post and packaging charges

The total price of the order amounts to the price of the book plus postage and packaging costs calculated according to the weight and shipment area. 
These costs correspond to the postal tariffs in force determined by the French service La Poste. Three shipment zones are applied: France, the European Union and the Rest of the world.

For France, we include Monaco, Andorra and the French Overseas Departments and territories (DOM TOM).
In the European Union zone, we include Switzerland.

5. Availability

Our books are on sale subject to the stocks available. If, in spite of the attention we pay to stocks, the books ordered were found to be unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible.

Where a book is definitively unavailable, your order will be automatically cancelled and you will be refunded.

6. Delivery

6.1. General points

The books will be delivered to the delivery address you indicate on your order. 
If you pay by cheque, your order will be kept for you and sent within eight days after your payment has been concluded. In all cases, NAP Editions is engaged to deliver the book ordered within 40 days.

6.2. Qualification

If the book is damaged, first of all please notify us and send a photo of the damage. We will then ask you to return the book by post. The cost of this return will be borne by NAP Editions.

7. Payment

Online payment can be made by bank card, imperatively through a secure system:
(Carte bleue, Visa Card, Eurocard/MasterCard,)
It is essential that cards issued by paying banks established outside France are international bankers cards.

For orders given by telephone or e-mail, you may pay by:

- bankers or postal cheque (issued by an established in metropolitan France).

8. Returns / refunds

You have a legal withdrawal period of 7 days counting from the day you received your order to return the book. The postage and any packaging costs for the return are payable by yourself. Returns should be sent to:

Soiled or damaged books will not be refunded in this case.

9. Governing law and legal jurisdiction

Online sales effected through our Internet site, e-mail or by telephone are governed by French law.

10. Retention of title

We retain the title to the books sold on our Internet site until full payment of their price has been made.
